Dil Nasheen Mohsen is a well-known social activist and member of Rotary Club of Comilla since 1994. She served her club, the 3rd oldest club of RI District 3282, as President in 2006-07 and both RI Districts 3280 and 3282 in different positions. Her wonderful fellowship, vast Rotary and social involvements and professional achievements is recognised by her being elected as District Governor of Rotary District 3282 Bangladesh.
Her long Rotary service is decorated with Chair Women Empowerment; Micro Credit & Empowerment of Women; Chair Every Rotarian Every Year; District Co-ordinator, Rotary Foundation; District Joint Co-ordinator and Member, District Interact Committee. She served the district 3280 as Assistant Governor & Deputy Governor. She participated in the Rotary Institutes in Taiwan, Kotakinabalu, Malaysia and Rotary International Convention Sydney and Atlanta. She completed her Rotary Leadership Institute training successfully. She was recognised as the Best Deputy Governor in 2012-2013.
In 1980 Dil Nasheen graduated in Public Administration (Hons) from Dhaka University. She left for abroad to her husband's workplace. After returning, in 2001 she started medical care business with her husband. In 1995 she joined Dustha Ma-O-Shishu Kalyan Foundation, an organization for under privileged women and children, as volunteer Director of which she is the volunteer Chief Executive Director now.
Dil Nasheen is a well-known social worker in Comilla and involved in many social, cultural and voluntary organizations like Buddhi Protibondhi School, Comilla; Sachetan Nagorik Committee, Comilla (TIB), Bangladesh; Durniti Protirodh Committee, DUPRAK Comilla, Bangladesh; Acid Sontrash Nirmul Committee, Comilla, Bangladesh; Director Somobai Bank, Comilla; Dhaka University Alumni Association etc.
Travelling, music, books and involvement in Rotary activities are her hobbies. She has visited almost all countries of Southeast Asia, China, USA , UK and Australia.
Born in an aristocrat family of Comilla, her father Mr. A.H.M. Mohsen was the Principal of Comilla Teacher's Training College and Dean of Faculty of Education of Chittagong University. She is happily married to veteran Freedom Fighter Rtn. Dr. Abu Ayub Hamid PHF. Her father in law, Mr. A I.M. Masiha, was Deputy Director of Industries, Govt. of Pakistan. She is blessed with a daughter Tanjina Jabeen and a son Dr. Imran Hamid who is Lecturer in Medical College and have three grand children.
